RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, one of the most successful Accounting/Tax firms in Queens, New York, is seeking a talented Tax Accountant. The ideal candidate will prepare individual (1040) tax returns along with entity returns (1065, 1120). The Tax Accountant will work with outstanding professionals and develop solid tax expertise. This client offers competitive compensation and benefits. This in-office role is located in a convenient, nice Queens location.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting


• 2+ years of tax return (1040) prep experience


• Some 1065 and 1120 experience is a plus, as is experience with QuickBooks


• Solid computer skills


• Well-spoken, detail oriented, dedicated, and professional approach


• Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
