Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Admissions Coordinator to join our healthcare facility. The Admissions Coordinator will be responsible for managing patient admissions, ensuring accurate documentation, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient admissions
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
- Collect and update patient information in electronic health records systems

-Ensure admission documentation is signed in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate smooth admissions processes

Experience:
- Previous experience in a LTC community, medical office or healthcare setting preferred
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical administrative support functions
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with patients and medical professionals
- Knowledge of office procedures and basic understanding of insurance verification processes
