Here’s What You’ll Get To Do
Review, analyze, and evaluate shop schedule to become familiar with schedule, delivery dates, estimated work requirements, staffing, and time needed to complete jobs
Release and create jobs to prepare for shop schedule
Develop and distribute daily shop schedules
Order materials as needed (metal, hardware, small parts, etc.)
Order office and shop supplies as needed
Assist in submitting tickets to Maintenance to repair any operational equipment malfunctions
Assist in submitting tickets to IT to resolve any administrative equipment, program, server, etc. related issues
Assist in shop KPI tracking and calculations as needed
Assist in 5S audits as scheduled
Assist in PTM audits as scheduled
Assist in submitting MDRs to Quality as needed
Assist in daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inventory cycle counts
Maintain accurate inventory levels conduct transactions as needed
Actively screen and audit shop operation postings as needed
Support safety and quality programs as needed
Support supervision with shop training as needed
Participate and support all team activities
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills required
Able to read, write, and communicate effectively with shop employees, supervision, and upper management
Must be a team player who is willing to directly assist shop employees as needed
Must be able to collaborate and work alongside other fabrication departments as needed
Intermediate computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required
Experience with EPICS MRP system preferred
Experience with EPICOR ERP system preferred
2+ years of manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred
Able to follow written and verbal instructions
Able to perform job role with minimum management supervision
Physical Requirements
Stand and walk for entire shift on concrete, up to 8-10 hours
Lift, push, pull or move up to 50 lbs. individually or up to 75 lbs. with a partner
Visual acuity to inspect material for various quality flaws and surface discrepancies
Properly wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Able to work in direct temperatures consistent with same outdoor climate conditions of the region (heat, humidity, cold, etc.)
