About this Job:
We are seeking a full-time clinical social worker to join a social work colleague on our Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis Services.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in conducting psychosocial assessments and experienced in crisis intervention, short-term counseling, and inter-professional collaboration.
They will also have experience working with patients and families presenting with a wide range of complex medical, psychosocial, and mental health concerns including anxiety and depression, loss, complex family dynamics, substance use disorder, and assessing and addressing safety concerns.
Excellent clinical, communication, and documentation skills are necessary. Participation in Dialysis Center activities is required.
This is an in-person role on the MGH Campus.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Master's of Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program required.
Require current Massachusetts Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or must obtain MA Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) within 4 months of hire date.
Relevant clinical experience preferred.
LICSWs preferred.
