Shermco US is hiring a Fleet Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY: Fleet Coordinator will have oversight of the administrative and tactical activities for the Fleet department and it's equipment including trucks and trailers. Effective interface is required with Shermco's Operation's Managers, FMC personnel, internal departmental associates, support vendors and governmental offices. This role ensures data in the operating systems is current, accurate and timely. Communications with internal and external entities is required to be timely and proactive with customer service at the main focus and achieved.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Represent the Fleet Management Department and interface with internal Department Managers and external support personnel and vendors
• Fleet Administrator will field requests from entities and in a timely manner answer questions or remedy required situations
• Database management and upkeep including truck/trailer detail, driver seating in the ERP, telematics and FMC systems
• Operating systems are kept current in a timely basis to ensure accurate and quality data.
• Fuel Procurement Operations
• Oversight of fuel procurement purchase cards, driver fuel pins and ensure each vehicle has a current and active fuel card
• Fleet Equipment Allocation / Disposition
• Each truck is required to be assigned to a department in a open or seated mode. A driver is assigned to a truck. This process is in constant flux and the Fleet Administrator with have oversight of the data integrity.
• Title/Registration Oversight
• Order vehicle toll tags and set up to pay toll related invoices
• Order vehicle signage, as required
• Oversight of the Fleet compliance of fuel and maintenance spend and provide routine reporting on it's activity
• Develop and maintain Fleet dashboards by compiling data and developing industry standard format for fleet metrics

• BS/associate degree in business management/accounting of Logistics preferred.
• Fleet management experience desired, Microsoft Office and excellent Excel skills
• Advanced user capabilities for Excel and data reporting
