Our client based out of South Bend, Indiana is looking to bring on a Business Analyst (D365). The Business Systems Analyst position is pivotal in collaborating with Business Stakeholders to comprehend and articulate business processes and requirements. The role entails meticulously documenting current operational procedures ("as-is") and steering discussions towards envisioned future states ("to-be"). Moreover, it requires translating business needs into intricate functional solutions through thorough analysis and design. As a leader in D365 ERP projects, the BSA engages in planning, analysis, design, and testing phases, ensuring project success in close collaboration with stakeholders and the project team.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage extensively with business users to grasp their requirements
Analyze existing systems and business models
Document interfaces between legacy and new systems
Understand the software development lifecycle
Collect and document business requirements
Evaluate potential solutions and assess their technical and business viability
Prepare detailed proposals for system modifications or replacements
Develop solutions and related products
Collaborate closely with colleagues, developers, testers, and end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
Provide mentoring and training on Microsoft Dynamics/Crowe Metals Accelerator (CMA)
Coordinate with third-party implementation partners and developers to ensure alignment and user satisfaction
Develop and execute test plans
Oversee D365/CMA implementation across multiple locations
Manage deadlines and work flexibly to meet project timelines
Support users through change control and system updates
Deliver training sessions and user manuals for new systems
Stay updated on technical and industry advancements
Offer end-user support
Collaborate within a team of analysts, project managers, and other IT roles to achieve objectives
Participate in budgeting and proposal activities by assessing project scope, cost-benefit analysis, and effort estimation
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in MS Dynamics 365 ERP implementation
Experience with Crowe Metals Accelerator is advantageous
Proficiency in cloud-based ERP systems implementation
Knowledge of user roles and security in MS Dynamics 365
Familiarity with custom forms and Business Document Management in MS Dynamics 365
Strong interpersonal skills for building rapport with diverse stakeholders
Exceptional problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in developing and maintaining documentation for policies, procedures, and best practices
Experience with DAX, SQL, Azure is preferred
Ability to learn new systems and implement new functionalities
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Office products, and collaboration tools like SharePoint
This position may require up to 20% travel, particularly during implementation and go-live phases.
