Clinical Manager I (109)
Hanford, CA

Provides direct supervision of entire department consisting of multiple levels of care. Assure program is in compliance with policies and procedures. Responsible for continuous program development and maintenance to ensure the highest quality service delivery possible. Ensure clinical resources are prioritized and weighted appropriately toward the target population. Oversee Access/Crisis program.

How will I contribute

In Access/Crisis provides management of the following programs: Intake services, Crisis Services, PEI services and CIT services.
As needed, provide back-up to members of the crisis team, including after-hours, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Monitor volume of Intake Assessments/Crisis Evaluations conducted by Access Program staff. Ensuring that processes are in place, so that consumers receive timely services.
Ensure medical necessity is assessed and documented for all consumers entering our system.
Ensure After-hours Crisis services are provided and managed effectively and in a timely manner. Ensuring that all shifts are adequately staffed.
Ensure that staff are adequately trained and are applying appropriate risk assessment strategies that utilize the least restrictive measures.
Serve as a member of the Management Team.
As needed, provide back-up to members of the Management Team.
Work collaboratively and harmoniously with other community partners in support of Kings Views' mission and the successful completion of its contracts.
Maintain licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker and comply with all BBS regulations for the supervision of interns, trainees and associates.
Familiarity with and adherence to compliance with the code of conduct and the requirements of the compliance program are elements of performance evaluations and conditions of employment.
Achieve competency in use of Kings View's electronic health record system (Anasazi). This will include but is not limited to the following:

* Use of Anasazi Scheduler
* Creation, Review, and Revision of Plans of Cares
* Effective creation of progress notes
* Effective use of Clinician's Home Page
* Effective use of reporting

In the course of performing job duties, follows all Kings View policies and procedures, administrative directives, all relevant county, state and federal regulations, and any performance obligations contained in Kings View program contracts with other entities.
Other duties as assigned.


What I bring

Master's degree or Psy.D. or Ph.D. in clinical social services, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or similar
Licensure (LCSW. MFT, or Psychology required.
2 years of experience as licensed clinician
Class C Driving License Required
3 years increasing clinical supervisory and/or crisis case management experience. Expert level for Assessment of risk and 5150 evaluations. Ensuring timely access to care
Knowledge related to Medi-Cal compliance, DHCS guidelines, and HIPAA compliance. Knowledge related to current trends in Risk Assessment and changes to state regulations related to involuntary detainment.
Ability to collect, analyze and report on data. Verbal and written communication skills. Ability to lead and direct others. Able to provide CA BBS supervision to students or Associates.
Patience and emotional regulation. Superior ability to collaborate with multiple agencies and disciplines.
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel.
