Represents the University in new student recruitment and participates in the evaluation of applicants. Participates in recruitment activities and projects, both in and out of state.
Essential Functions
Oversees and coordinates all day-to-day operational aspects of Midwest regional territory (Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky). Must reside in Ohio or Michigan.
Develops and implements strategies to recruit a diverse pool of potential undergraduate applicants, corresponds and interacts with prospective students, applicants, University alumni, school counselors, and others seeking information on admissions standards, academic and non-academic programs, and student activities following established procedures and precedents.
Participates in admissions committee to determine student applicants’ admissibility to the University and monitors progress of applicants.
Travels within territory for recruitment activities such as conducting information sessions at high schools, community colleges, college fairs, and community-based organizations.
Periodic travel to Pittsburgh will be required for on-campus programs and training throughout the year.

Mobility with regard to possible travel within the United States is essential and a requirement for successful performance in this position. Valid driver’s license is required. May be required to carry a box of material (up to 50 lbs.) from car and/or from building to building or between floors.
