**Join Our Team as a Certified Payroll Clerk**-Fremont


Are you meticulous with details and passionate about ensuring compliance? We're seeking a Certified Payroll Clerk to join our team, responsible for compiling and recording employee time and payroll data.


**Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:**
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Some evening and weekend work may be required.


**Pay:**
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour


**Essential Functions:**
- Upload, download, and organize certified payroll and labor compliance documents.
- Ensure timely processing of certified payroll weekly.
- Assist with DIR Uploads and DAS 140/142 Apprentice documents.
- Communicate effectively with subcontractors regarding payroll compliance.
- Prepare status reports for payment release.
- Submit and complete labor compliance documents for projects.


**Non-Essential Duties:**
- Provide training to other employees.
- Perform other assigned duties.


**Core Competencies:**
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Attention to detail is crucial.


**Travel Required:**
No travel expected.


**Minimum Education and Experience:**
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience.
- Experience with online payroll reporting tools.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification a plus.


**Preferred Education and Experience:**
- Associate's degree in business or related field.
- 4+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience.
