Summary of Duties:


Perform journey level work in the fields of plumbing, steamfitting, and pipefitting to alter, repair and maintain buildings, facilities and equipment.




Required Qualifications:




  • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship as a plumber/pipefitter/steamfitter OR full journey status as a plumber/pipefitter/steamfitter in a union OR four years applicable work experience.




  • Possession of a valid unrestricted motor vehicle operator's license.







Preferred Qualifications:




  • Journey-level plumbing or pipefitter certification preferred at time of hire.




  • Possession of, or ability to acquire and maintain, a welding certification when required by the job and weld type, on a case-by-case basis, and when the need arises. Plumbing/Pipefitting/Steam fitting experience working in an institutional or commercial environment within the last 7 years.

Monthly Salary:


Range 50G | $4,968 to $5,756 (Step G - M) | Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement.
