Model-Based Design and Code Generation Expert (m/f/d)

YOUR TASKS

  • Develop models of product functions with input/output flows, to serve as the basis for the design and development of embedded software solutions
  • Create chains of sub-functions and for mechatronic pressure control systems with a primary emphasis on safe control and predictive maintenance for connected brake control systems
  • Ensure Causality and traceability from Functional Models up to testing while maintaining compliance with EN50126 and EN50128 standards
  • Generate software through the utilization of MATLAB, Simulink, and Python for embedded devices, leveraging these tools to design, implement and test advanced algorithms
  • Work closely with mechanical, electronic, and data science experts to ensure that the embedded software solutions meet customer needs and comply with industry standards and regulations

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing embedded software solutions
  • Demonstrated experience in applying the V model methodology to system development
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, particularly in the domains of mechanics, electronics, and data science
  • Expertise in MATLAB and Simulink for the generation of embedded software and analytical processes
  • Strong proficiency in Python and C for data acquisition, processing, and analytics
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) practices for software development and physical simulation integration
  • Proficiency in English for effective written and verbal communication
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in an agile development environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the capability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams
