Description: The Production Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the bakery production processes. The successful candidate will lead a team, ensure adherence to quality standards, and contribute to the company's commitment to delivering exceptional bakery products. This position requires a deep understanding of bakery operations, strong leadership skills, and a passion for maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Oversight:
Manage day-to-day bakery production activities, from ingredient preparation to final product packaging.
Ensure efficient workflows, timely production schedules, and adherence to quality and safety protocols.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of production staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the production team.
Quality Assurance:
Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures to uphold product quality standards.
Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any issues related to product quality and consistency.
Process Improvement:
Analyze production data to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and increased efficiency.
Implement best practices to optimize production workflows and enhance overall productivity.
Inventory Management:
Oversee inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, coordinating with procurement to ensure adequate stock.
Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Proven experience as a Production Manager 5+years
In-depth knowledge of bakery production processes, equipment, and industry best practices.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality control standards.
