Description: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing ongoing facility maintenance and completing repairs on equipment. This role involves fixing machinery, plumbing, heating, and wiring, as well as inspecting buildings to confirm safety standards. The Maintenance Technician will also schedule major repairs in coordination with the building's inhabitants.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Repair, rebuild, replace, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment.
Work with hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, conveyors, and automation systems.
Familiarity with AC and DC electrical controls up to 480V, 3-phase.
Proficiency in handling AC motors, DC motors, drive controls, and electrical troubleshooting.
Experience reading blueprints and technical diagrams.
Repairs of gears, pumps, hydraulics, and conveyors.
Qualifications & Requirements:
High School / GED / Trade School
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
Able to work alone or within a team
Friendly and personable
Able to read blue prints
Flexible with schedule
Able to work some weekends and OT
Able to lift 30+ lbs
Previous manufacturing experience
