As a Corrugation Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our corrugation line operates smoothly and efficiently. You will lead a team of operators in producing high-quality corrugated board, panels, and other related materials, meeting production targets while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the corrugation line, ensuring smooth and efficient production flow.
Assign tasks and provide clear instructions to team members, motivating them to achieve production goals.
Monitor and maintain the quality of corrugated products, adhering to strict quality control standards.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and identify potential issues, taking proactive steps to prevent downtime.
Ensure all safety regulations are followed by team members, upholding a safe working environment.
Address and resolve production problems, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
Train new team members on operating procedures, safety protocols, and quality control measures.
Maintain accurate production records and reports.
Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and scheduling, to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
Minimum [3-5] years of experience in a corrugated manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
Strong understanding of corrugation processes, including equipment operation, material handling, and quality control procedures.
Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and mentor a team.
Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with team members and other departments.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and implement solutions to production challenges.
Commitment to safety and a strong understanding of safety regulations within a manufacturing environment.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a relevant associate's degree or technical training is a plus.
