In this rewarding role, you will:
Develop and implement a business-specific communications and marketing strategy aligned to Leidos QTC Health Services objectives Lead team of communications, media, and creative professionals responsible for all internal and external communications activities at the company
Develop and manage annual communications budget that includes advertising, marketing, trade shows, charitable contributions, sponsorships, memberships, town halls and forums, external events, and other group activities
Support and drive strategies for recruiting, engagement, and retention
Evaluate and adjust strategies to respond to changing and/or competitive markets
Plan, execute, and manage internal- and external-facing campaigns
Engage the growing workforce through consistent and targeted internal communications initiatives
Directly collaborate with C-Level leaders and assist in developing presentations, speeches, and other important internal and external-facing messages
Ensure key capabilities are marketed effectively to deliver awareness and growth
Refine brand positioning and messaging, enhance business development engagement, assist with lead generation, help develop a position of thought leadership, and shape the market dynamics
Ensure the correct positioning in our key market-facing materials including websites, press releases, white papers, sales materials, trade shows, and social media outreach
Lead the execution for business-specific campaigns centered around longer-term integrated marketing plans
Oversee and enhance content for our digital platforms, including external website, social media channels, and intranet
Identify and develop core capability positioning and messaging that uniquely differentiates Leidos QTC Health Services within the market, clearly communicating benefits to customers and our competitive advantage
Engage with Business Development & Strategy teams to understand customer needs, competitive offerings and positions, market trends, and competitive strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities
Interface with executive management, technical and sales community, external analysts, press, and other communications stakeholders
Develop and maintain relationships with Leidos and Leidos QTC subject matter experts
Act as a brand champion for Leidos QTC, ensuring our brand standards are maintained across all internal and external touchpoints
Coordinate appropriate corporate leaders on company-wide initiatives and messaging to ensure alignment with the Leidos enterprise
Collaboration with Leidos Health & Civil sector Communication Director and overall corporate Communications & Marketing to leverage resources (e.g., creative, trade shows), ensure brand alignment, and drive enterprise-wise initiatives across Leidos QTC
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
You must have:
A bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting, or related field from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education. Master’s degree preferred.
10 - 15 years’ of experience in communications and marketing, experience in Business market communications or marketing
Knowledge of Leidos’ QTC Health Services industry
Demonstrated expertise in working with and advising senior leaders
Excellent presentation, public speaking and written communication and project management skills
Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with communications best practices and technologies
Familiarity with social media platforms and social media marketing
Expert writing and presentation skills with proficiency in AP-Style grammar
Exceptional organization skills and ability to respond quickly and accurately to requests while working effectively in a team environment
Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work with executives, employees, media, and the community
Demonstrated expertise in the planning and execution of proactive communication campaigns for large, complex organizations or government agencies that engage a broad spectrum of stakeholders
An ability to coordinate efforts of various teams in order to present coherent messages and execute on communications deliverables
An ability to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation
