The Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab, PRN is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed care givers who ensure that patients, families and significant others receive individualized high quality, safe patient care. It is expected that all RN Clinical Nurses - are licensed, knowledgeable and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and implements the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards put forth by the American Nurses Association.

Overview
Functions under the direction of the Site Manager. He/she is responsible for performing a wide variety of clinical procedures requiring independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative in the utilization of the equipment for the diagnosis and/or treatment

Required Minimum Education
Graduate of an accredited/approved School of Nursing Required
Required Minimum Experience
1 year ICU/CCU/ER or previous Cath Lab/EP Lab experience Preferred
Required Minimum Skills
The individual must be able to communicate and understand verbal and written English language and display a positive attitude (see WellStar's 'Standards of Gold' and 'Values').
