The RN Cath EP is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed care givers who ensure that patients, families and significant others receive individualized high quality, safe patient care. It is expected that all RN Clinical Nurses - are licensed, knowledgeable and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and implements the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards put forth by the American Nurses Association.

Job Summary:
Fulltime Day Shift
Cath/EP Lab Wellstar Paulding
10 hr shifts, Various call shifts with weekends, 30 min response time required
Functions under the direction of the Site Manager. He/she is responsible for performing a wide variety of clinical procedures requiring independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative in the utilization of the equipment for the diagnosis and/or treatment
Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Holds leaders accountable for behaviors that create trust and engagement. Performs all duties and responsibilities of this position in a manner that reflects the values of WellStar. Maintains and strengthens relationships with physicians and assures their involvement in developing systems to assure the growth of the service and the cost effective delivery of quality patient care in a manner that fosters patient and employee satisfaction.
Required Minimum Education:
Graduate of an accredited/approved School of Nursing Required
1 year ICU/CCU/ER or previous Cath Lab/EP Lab experience Preferred
Required Minimum Skills:
The individual must be able to communicate and understand verbal and written English language and display a positive attitude (see WellStar's "Standards of Gold" and "Values").
