At Constant Contact, we're on a quest to revolutionize our data capabilities. We're looking for a visionary Director of Data Engineering & Data Warehousing to lead this transformation. In this senior leadership role, you'll be overseeing the development, implementation, and management of our D&A data lake as part of an evolving enterprise ecosystem. What You'll Do:



  • Strategize and Innovate: Define and execute a forward-looking data strategy that syncs with our business objectives, enhancing the reporting and analytics landscape for all stakeholders, and integrates with our enterprise environment.

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner closely with the enterprise data team to co-drive the data strategy, ensuring alignment and leveraging collective expertise to propel our data capabilities to new heights.

  • Lead and Inspire: Serve as a confident peer influencer with exceptional communication skills, capable of establishing credibility swiftly and leading a cross-functional technical team towards shared goals.

  • Drive Excellence: Oversee Data Engineering & QA operations to create scalable data assets and BI solutions, elevating the data experience for users across the organization.

  • Optimize Operations: Refine processes and procedures to boost operational efficiency, ensuring seamless collaboration and optimal resource allocation to meet ambitious deadlines.

  • Stay Ahead: Keep your finger on the pulse of emerging technologies and trends in data warehousing, BI, and beyond, ensuring we remain at the forefront of the industry.

 Who You Are:



  • A seasoned leader with a BS or MS in Engineering (or a related field) and over 10 years of experience crafting innovative customer information systems that underpin analytics.

  • An expert of SQL and Python (or equivalent), with a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, from requirements to design and beyond.

  • Experienced in agile methodologies like Kanban/Scrum, with a solid grasp of CICD, data modeling, and cloud-based data warehouse solutions such as Snowflake.

  • Proficient with leading BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or AWS QuickSight) and well-versed in data governance, big data solutions (e.g., AWS S3, Hadoop), and data lake concepts.

  • Experience leading a on- and off-shore hybrid team is required
