Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer to join our IT team. This position will be full-time, on-site, and is a contract position.
What You'll Do
Use Java, Spring Boot, Microservices and data streaming using Kafka
Deliver API based solutions using Java Spring Boot
Design and delivering messaging solutions using Kafka
Deliver hybrid integrations between cloud applications and traditional systems
Program in Spring Boot/Python framework
Use docker/container stack architecture, technologies, and platforms that includes Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.
Use DevOps, DevSecOps and Application Performance Management implementations
Design and implementation experience with projects that encompass microservices, API gateways like IBM Datapower, Apigee etc.
Translate the functional requirement to technical design
What You'll Need
Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Math, or equivalent
7 + years of experience in Software Engineering and development
Solid experience with Java, DevOps, API and Spring Boot
Desired Skills
Experience in enterprise integration space using iPass solutions
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
