What You'll Do



Slalom seeks a top-tier Sales Director to lead our Northern California technology industry go-to-market (GTM) efforts. This role involves cultivating a profitable portfolio and fostering deep, trusted-advisor relationships with Slalom's technology industry clients in the region. You will be the cornerstone of the technology industry team with mastery in understanding client goals / challenges / opportunities, aligning them with transformative Slalom solutions, and tactfully sharing them back in a way that clients have confidence in our team's complete understanding and drive toward a successful outcome.


Our clients value our local consulting model, and to be successful in this role, you will need to be within a commutable distance to one of our three offices in Northern California (Redwood City, San Francisco, or Walnut Creek).



Key Responsibilities:


  • Personally drive continuous client centricity not only for yourself and your pipeline, but also lead the efforts across technology industry consulting leadership team.

  • Forge strategic alliances with account and practice leaders to stimulate business growth.

  • Strengthen and deepen existing relationships with clients, partners, and the community via intentional, valuable, and continuous touchpoints inclusive of projects, 1:1s, events, PoVs, and connections.

  • Build and expand net-new relationships with via quality and continuous client, prospective client, and partner touchpoints which are meaningful for our level of engagement today.

  • Drive, develop, and showcase Slalom's consulting and individual consultant expertise (e.g. meaningful PoVs, blogs, events, etc. that are measured on ROI) via GTM leadership and management to encourage, enable, and require individuals to develop and showcase client-relevant expertise that leads to strengthened, deepened, and expanded client relationships.

  • Leverage Slalom's sales tools for precise forecasting in collaboration with team leaders.

  • Serve as a key contact and Slalom ambassador for top client executives.

  • Begin as an individual contributor to ramp to Slalom knowledge / expertise while demonstrating individual GTM excellence. Eventually, take on and mentor a team of sellers already onboarded and to-be hired to drive collective GTM excellence.

  • Mentor and develop the technology industry sales, account, and practice teams for GTM best practices and aligned efforts.

  • Architect and implement a targeted sales strategy.


Goals:



  • Annual Revenue: Attain $6M+ in direct revenue contributions while enabling the industry to achieve and surpass the complete goal.


  • Quarterly Sales: Surpass $1.5M in individual sales, with a significant portion from new engagements.


  • Client Relationship Development: Conduct 50+ client meetings, with a portfolio of 50+ decision-maker level relationships, including 10+ critical clients.


  • Sales Leadership: Champion sales initiatives and instill best practices within the region.


  • Marketing & Outreach: Lead demand-gen marketing strategy to elevate Slalom's presence to drive marketing qualified leads in support of your targeted sales strategy.

Compensation and Benefits



Slalom prides itself on helping team members thrive in their work and life. Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $174,000 - $278,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
