Summit Funding Group, Inc. is an established and fast growing equipment leasing company and a wholly-owned subsidiary of First Financial Bank located in Mason, OH. Summit Funding Group is searching for a Commercial Collections Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and demonstrating resilience in the face of challenges.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Lead and manage a team of experienced collectors and customer service representative to achieve collection targets and minimize delinquencies.
Ability to read and understand lease/loan documents and understand the financing terms withing the contracts.
Ability to identify and address collections issues, servicing requirements, volumes, timelines, etc. within a portfolio
Research accounts to determine source and circumstances of delinquency
Ability to negotiate with customers to resolve delinquencies
Summarize and document all communications with customers
Provide updated reports to financing partners on troubled accounts
Qualification/Requirements:
Proven experience in successfully leading collections teams to achieve targets
Commercial collections experience, from small to large customers
Knowledge of credit, collections, and bankruptcy laws and regulations
Commercial leasing or loan experience preferred
Highly organized and ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
Operate in goal-oriented environment to achieve performance targets
Efficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred, not required
5+ years of experience as a Commercial Collections Management
