Job Description:
Stanley Black & Decker seeks Lean Engineer (Jackson, TN).
Responsible for recommending, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities and carry out process and procedure improvements to optimize results and improve quality of delivery. Utilize knowledge of value stream mapping; project management; data collection and analysis; and development and implementation of process improvements to drive change. Bachelors degree in Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engg or rltd. 3 yrs' exp utilizing Lean Manufacturing in a production environment. Ability with: Lean Manufacturing, Leading Kaizens, 5S, Line balancing, SMED, Process improvement, Standard work creation, Process design and change management, Facilitation of group training and presentations in the use of Lean Manufacturing, analyze complex manufacturing data and propose changes leading to higher efficiency.
