Position Overview



As a Commercial Interiors Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the construction of high-end luxury retail and office spaces. Your responsibilities will include managing on-site activities, ensuring quality workmanship, and adhering to project timelines and budgets. Key Responsibilities



On-Site Project Management:


  • Provide daily, on-site project management for luxury retail construction projects.

  • Oversee all aspects of the project, including coordination, execution, and quality control.

  • Coordinate subcontractors, ensuring seamless execution.

  • Maintain safety protocols and cleanliness.


Budget and Timeline Management:



  • Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines.

  • Optimize resources without compromising quality.


Quality Assurance:



  • Monitor workmanship to ensure it aligns with luxury standards.

  • Conduct regular inspections and address any deficiencies promptly.


Safety and Compliance:



  • Ensure on-site safety compliance, cleanliness, and orderliness.

  • Collaborate with assistant site superintendents to maintain safety protocols.


Project Documentation:



  • Maintain accurate daily work reports and work plans.

  • Update project schedules and manage priorities to meet milestones.


Collaboration and Communication:



  • Attend meetings with clients, vendors, and external partners.

  • Work closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors.


Qualifications



  • Experience: Minimum 5 years as a lead superintendent on commercial interior projects, specifically in luxury retail.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and contract documents.

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and solve construction-related challenges.

  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills to manage on-site teams effectively.

  • Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail to maintain quality standards.
