JOB DESCRIPTION

The Duck Creek Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business needs, gathering related information/artifacts, and documenting requirements required for implementing, upgrading, or enhancing existing or New products and services.

Must to have Commercial / Specialty Insurance knowledge and Duck Creek product knowledge.

Job Description:


  • Ability to analyze, organize, and model well written requirement documentation, without ambiguity and with traceability
  • Ability to accomplish all Business Analyst tasks for larger and more complex projects
  • Works with the Product Owner and other stakeholders to assess current capabilities and identify customer requirements
  • Participates in project planning, scoping exercises, and takes an active role with business stakeholder initiatives
  • Elicits detailed product requirements and use cases to develop and maintain the business requirements
  • Transitions the requirements and use cases to the technical team and ensures a clear and complete understanding of the requirements
  • Facilitates transition of Requirements to the Quality Assurance
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field technology based program, or equivalent work experience required
  • 10-12 years Business Analysis experience including strong analytical and elicitation skills
  • 5+ years of experience on Duck Creek Policy Admin System
  • Demonstrates initiative, is conscientious, and provides complete follow-through in areas of responsibilities
