Requirements and Description

The key responsibilities of the Station Coordinator (SCO) are described below:

Perform checks of the contracted vendor services for aircraft handling at key intervals before, during and post flight.
Perform aircraft walk-around of the cargo and passenger doors for any damage, confirm if locks at cargo door are up, report as needed
Act as the station coordinator on flight days and as the Carrier point of contact (when no other Atlas personnel are on station) as needed
Monitor all third-party business partners who are contracted to provide the Carrier with operational services. The SCO is to ensure business practices offered by those parties comply with the Carrier safety and operational procedures at all times.
SCO is to complete and maintain, as required by the Carrier, any training course with specific reference to the SCO duties and operational coverage. This is to include all courses listed in the Carrier training matrix and additional if required by the Carrier.
SCO is to monitor, through specific intervals, and report, when required, the performance of our designated handling agents to the respective Atlas Manager and/or the Carrier duty staff on a flight-by-flight basis. This includes written reports regarding any observed deviation of Atlas regulations, policies and practices noted during his or her duty. Photographic evidence is to be secured when physically possible.
As needed and determined by the carrier, the SCO will complete all quality control and operational checklists in a timely manner. This also includes the maintaining of any flight documents, folders or files as required
Report any safety related incidents using the company provided reporting tool
Serve as the point of contact for operating crews and the customer as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
