How You Will Make an Impact

The Planner is responsible for production scheduling, and planning functions. This role has regular interface with sales, operations, purchasing and engineering

Position is located currently in Tarpon Springs FL and will be relocating to Spring Hill FL August 2024

The Nuts and Bolts

• Plan, schedule and generate manufacturing orders and work schedules for the shop floor to achieve high on-time delivery, level loading of available labor, and to minimize WIP and finished goods inventory
• Works closely with Production, Sales, Engineering and Purchasing to meet operational goals
• Schedule to minimize Chassis Pool Floor plan and increase allocation
• Coordinates with purchasing to maintain updated equipment dates and adjust production schedule as needed
• Collaborate with chassis pool and sales to maintain updated chassis data
• Provides input to management and/or interface with customers when rescheduling is required due to design changes, chassis delays, labor and material shortages, and other potential schedule interruptions
• Utilize ERP software and scheduling programs that support production planning, capacity planning, and operational management
• Maintain production planning systems and procedures with high data accuracy and integrity

• Three (3) to five (5) years of production planning experience
• Manufacturing industry background experience preferred
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and functions required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs, especially Excel
• The ability to collaborate with a multi-department team
