Location: Oviedo, FL
Type of Engagement: Contract
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
Greets patients as they arrive and manages 10 minute wait time.
Assists patient with intake processes including copying required documents.
Answers phones and schedules appointments.
Assist with coordination and processing of all patient referrals for specialty services.
Responsible for accurately and professionally handling all front desk operations including answering phones, balancing daily collections, data-entry, addressing routine inquiries, and forwarding non-routine requests to appropriate personnel.
Works daily reports, incomplete task, No Show reports, and other designated administrative reports according to office procedures.
Ensures all correspondence is scanned and/or filed in timely manner.
Manage and sort faxes to appropriate staff members.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Will assist primarily with high volume inbound calls.
Qualifications and Requirements:
One to two years of related work experience including data entry.
Working knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology.
Ability to accurately sort and file materials by alphabetic or numeric systems.
Effective communication and customer service skills required.
Ability to multitask, effective time-management, and organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of customer service
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, ect.)
Experience with eCW (EMR system)
Bilingual Spanish speaking
