As a Neo4j database administrator, you are responsible for ensuring the availability and consistency of multiple Neo4j databases and making the data accessible to applications.
Your role includes:
Setting Up and Operating Multi-Node Neo4j Cluster: You must have experience in configuring and managing multi-node Neo4j clusters to ensure scalability and high availability.
General Database Administration and Data Storage Design: Your expertise in database administration and data storage design is crucial for maintaining the health and performance of Neo4j databases.
Troubleshooting Database Performance Issues: You'll diagnose and address performance bottlenecks, both in general database operations and specifically within Neo4j.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical abilities are essential for optimizing database performance and resolving issues efficiently.
Remote Work Capability: You should be comfortable working independently and remotely, as part of a distributed team.
Team Responsibilities: You'll collaborate with colleagues to provide appliance support, monitor database performance, and document Neo4j databases.
24x7 Environment Support: You'll manage both non-production and production Neo4j environments, ensuring they meet business-critical requirements.
Strong Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication is necessary for collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing priorities.
