Responsible for providing business analysis support to CAI customers on small to medium projects.
Job Description
We are looking for a Business Analyst to support our client's small to medium projects. This position will be a full-time 6 month contract to hire position and hybrid (25% travel on-site as needed).
What You'll Do
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document project initiation requirements
Collaborate with project managers and project sponsors to determine project scope and vision
Conduct interviews to gather user requirements through workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods
Work with stakeholders and the project team to prioritize collected requirements, then analyze and translate business requirements into functional specifications for IT teams
Apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help support the development process, and to ensure that project deliverables met according to specifications
Ensure alignment between business needs and technology solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project initiation
What You'll Need
1-3 years of relevant experience
Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development
Ability to create systematic and consistent requirements specifications in both technical and user-friendly language
Knowledge of project management methodologies.
Understanding of application development and software development life cycle concepts
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid (On-site and Remote) work environment
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
