Job Summary

Responsible for providing business analysis support to CAI customers on small to medium projects.

Job Description



We are looking for a Business Analyst to support our client's small to medium projects. This position will be a full-time 6 month contract to hire position and hybrid (25% travel on-site as needed).



What You'll Do



  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document project initiation requirements


  • Collaborate with project managers and project sponsors to determine project scope and vision


  • Conduct interviews to gather user requirements through workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods


  • Work with stakeholders and the project team to prioritize collected requirements, then analyze and translate business requirements into functional specifications for IT teams


  • Apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help support the development process, and to ensure that project deliverables met according to specifications


  • Ensure alignment between business needs and technology solutions


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project initiation





What You'll Need



  • 1-3 years of relevant experience


  • Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development


  • Ability to create systematic and consistent requirements specifications in both technical and user-friendly language


  • Knowledge of project management methodologies.


  • Understanding of application development and software development life cycle concepts


  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid (On-site and Remote) work environment





Physical Demands




  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards


  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.


  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
