Apply now for the position of Head of U.S. Sales, Point of Care Diagnostics to develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targets, meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and expand market share in the Point of Care (POC) diagnostics across existing product portfolio as well as new product launches in hospital, outpatient, distribution, government, IDN, GPO and EMS settings.



Your role:



• Lead, mentor, and inspire a comprehensive national sales team to exceed sales goals and deliver exceptional customer experience across critical care, primary care, IDN, GPO, Government, Distribution and Inside Sales


• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry partners to drive business growth and identify new opportunities


• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and development utilizing targeted sales strategies


• Hire, develop and coach extraordinary sales leaders and professionals across the US who execute complex sales strategies to address customer pain-points and maximize long-term partnerships with Siemens Healthineers (SHS) POC


• Collaborate with internal teams including but limited to marketing, product development, service and sales operations as needed to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business objectives


• Responsible for ensuring the national team focuses on elevating the entire customer experience in conjunction with customer service and support teams in all stages of the sales cycle to garner and maintain customer loyalty and ensure overall business success


• Working cross functionally with other SHS teams such as Key & Government Accounts and Enterprise Solutions to further develop and drive our business opportunities, while ensuring customers meet or exceed contractual obligations


• Drive sales process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the sales organization


• Provide reporting, insight and analysis of sales performance metrics, forecasts, and pipeline activity to executive leadership as required


• Proactively monitor industry developments, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to influence sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge in the market


• Budget responsibility for travel and expenses for USA sales team including the responsibility to oversee and manage spending in line with the company's goals and expectations



Your expertise:



• Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred


• Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience in the diagnostic, medical technology, or point of care industry, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets


• Extensive and proven understanding of sales processes, techniques, and methodologies, with documented success in consultative selling and complex sales cycles


• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results


• Excels at conflict management to eliminate potential barriers to success


• Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales plans, identify market opportunities, and drive business growth


• Experienced in developing and maintaining an accurate sales funnel/pipeline and forecast in conjunction with finance and supply chain functional partners


• Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to make informed decisions and drive performance improvements


• Must possess outstanding oral and written communication skills including ability to present highly technical topics in a clear and concise manner


• Proven ability to present and effectively communicate to customers, direct reports and Siemens Healthineers management


• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and market conditions


• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in the diagnostic, medical technology, and point of care sectors


• Able to work remotely and travel to support sales activities and engage with customers, partners, and attend industry events as needed throughout the United States

The pay range for this position is $250,000-$275,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The annual incentive target is $100,000.
