How you will make contributions that matter...
You will be responsible for the overall performance of Intake, Goat Cheese Production & Packaging, Whey Department and Warehousing while focusing on Safety, Quality, Cost and Employee Environment.
Actively promote and support food safety and product quality programs (i.e. GMPs, HACCP, quality and sanitation standards) and initiatives though working closely with the Quality Assurance team, plant management, operations and employees.
Work with our suppliers, customers, Production Planning and Customer Service to ensure customer needs are satisfied from product performance, quality, cost and timely shipment of orders. Work to minimize/eliminate customer complaints.
Develop and maintain positive and effective verbal and written communication with the Plant Manager, plant management team, supervisors, service groups and all employees to ensure smooth operation of the process.
Develop a yearly departmental budget, in conjunction with the Plant Manager. Monitor and control departmental costs in comparison with budgetary standards. Measure/ focus on maximizing yields, productivity, controlling waste, labor efficiencies and monitoring spending.
Lead trouble-shooting and problems-solving efforts through the facilitation of team meetings and on-the-floor leadership to effectively change systems and procedures through the process of continuous improvement.
You Are Best Suited for the Role if You Have the Following Experience, Skills, and Qualifications...

Minimum of 5 years' experience in dairy manufacturing and management, with minimum of 2 years cheese manufacturing experience (preferably Mozzarella).
Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience.
Ability to understand cost containment and budgetary principles. Budgeting experience preferred.
Manage and provide strong leadership, direction, support and development to a team of supervisors and department personnel.

Salary Range: $102,170 to $134,100
Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, educations, skills and training.
