Intelligent Waves is growing rapidly and has an outstanding new opportunity for a Software Engineer to work on an important technical program for a major DoD organization headquartered in Reston, VA. Intelligent Waves has an immediate need for a Software Engineer to support our mission critical work for our government customers.

Location & Travel: This Software Engineer Position will be based in Chantilly, VA. Travel: N/A

Security Clearance: This Software Engineer position must be a United States Citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.

Embark on exciting projects at the forefront of AI innovation! As an employee, you'll be immersed in a variety of engaging activities with the Prime contractors (C3AI) customers, Air Force Rapid Sustainability Office (RSO) including:

• Deploying and configuring cutting-edge, AI-powered enterprise applications on the C3 AI Platform.
• Testing, troubleshooting, and enhancing customer software applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Training, validating, and deploying sophisticated machine learning pipelines.
• Collaborating closely with data and subject matter experts within customer teams to extract, understand, validate, interpret, and leverage critical data and business insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy full-stack, AI-based enterprise applications on the C3 AI Platform
• Test, troubleshoot, and enhance customer software applications with and on behalf of customers
• Identify application performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations
• Conduct design and development reviews of customer software applications
• Write application specifications and documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelors (or equivalent) in Computer Science (or related) fields
• Software development experience with JavaScript and Python
• Experience with Git or other version control software
• Experience working with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Redux, Vue, Backbone, or Angular
• Experience deploying software to least one of the leading cloud computing platforms (i.e., GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Proficiency in data structure and algorithm design and implementation
• Proficiency in time-series data analysis, cleansing, and normalization
• Working knowledge of Agile software development methodology
