Responsibilities
Perform entry-level professional work, including developmental assignments involving the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out routine engineering tasks under direct supervision.
Collaborate with project engineers to contribute to the planning, design, and execution of various structural engineering projects.
Assist in analyzing reports, maps, drawings, aerial photographs and performing site visits to plan and assemble construction documents.
Utilize structural engineering software and tools to perform analysis, modeling, and simulations to support design decisions.
Conduct site visits and field observations to gather data and assess project requirements.
Be responsible for project quality on tasks assigned as defined in the Quality Assurance / Quality Control guidelines.
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on structural engineering from an accredited institution.
Strong academic background in structural engineering fundamentals, including structural analysis, statics and dynamics, reinforced concrete and structural steel design, and geotechnical engineering.
Proficiency in using engineering production software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or similar applications.
Proficiency in using structural engineering analysis software such as STAAD, RISA, Enercalc, MATLAB, or other engineering analysis software
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated commitment to learning and professional development.
EIT certification or willingness to obtain one is a plus.
