Description

The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) plays a critical role in driving strategic initiatives and fostering collaboration between the IT organization and various business functions within the company. Reporting directly to the Director of Business Integration & Compliance, the BRM will orchestrate the participation of IT in strategic business initiatives, ensuring the alignment of IT with business needs and priorities. This role focuses on proactive stakeholder engagement, gathering requirements, assisting in the development of business cases, and driving impactful business system initiatives. The BRM leverages a strong understanding of the business and IT to ensure that information system solutions align with strategic objectives and deliver measurable business value.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the functional teams to align IT initiatives with strategic business objectives, focusing on areas such as ERP, PLM, MES, Quality, and Supply Chain.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to business stakeholders, providing insights on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Influence product/service managers by providing input on the needs and justifications of business constituents, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Develop robust business cases for business system initiatives, outlining potential benefits, costs, and risks to support decision-making processes.
  • Integrate with project teams to ensure successful delivery of business systems, meeting both business, regulatory, and technical requirements.
  • Adapt communication style and be tactful in delivering messages to address complex issues with differing stakeholder perspectives.

  • Lead stakeholder engagement efforts, proactively building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders across business units.
  • Facilitate the gathering of business requirements, working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and priorities.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field.
  • 8+ years' experience working in information technology, information systems, business systems or related field, within a highly regulated industry.
  • Travel will be required for the purpose of meeting with site personnel, Management, and other stakeholders.
  • Pursuant to International Traffic Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), applicants for SELECT positions will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, U.S. Permanent Residence, or U.S. Immigration Status in order to meet the minimum qualifications for those select positions.   • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Qualifications

  • General knowledge of common frameworks and regulations, such as Sarbanes-Oxley, NIST 800 series, CMMC, FedRAMP, Export Control, and Privacy Acts.
  • Prior experience in the aerospace and/or manufacturing industry is a plus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, influence stakeholders, and foster collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable IT initiatives.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
  • Demonstrate outstanding level of professionalism, including ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Drive and resourcefulness in making contributions both inside and outside assigned responsibilities.
