Position Summary:

  • Responsible for performing a broad spectrum of repairs to the inside / outside structure of building.
  • Assists with additional work duties or responsibilities as evident or required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or apparent.

Primary Accountabilities:

Specific tasks or responsibilities will be documented in the incumbents' performance objectives as outlined by the incumbents' immediate supervisor or manager.

· Maintains hepa filters; cleans vacuum pumps.

  • Fixes plumbing fixtures, pipes and pumps.
  • Repairs structural damage to walls, windows, floors and ceiling.
  • Available to perform all general repairs to building.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • High School or Equivalent

· Working knowledge of building construction, plumbing and electrical repair.

· Must be able to climb ladder, work from elevated platform, and lift at least 70lbs.

· Heavy equipment operation experience (backhoe, forklift, trimmers, chainsaw, and tractor).

· Specific expertise, skills and knowledge within maintenance gained through education and experience.

· The ability to take strategic objectives and accept accountability to drive results through effective actions.

· The ability and willingness to change direction and focus to meet shifting organizational and business demands.

· The ability to create and contribute environment that values people, encourages trust, teamwork, and open communication, and provides participation, learning, feedback and recognition.

· The ability to effectively manage one self, demonstrates integrity, be productive under pressure, and achieve development goals.

· Position requires bending (overhead to floor), climbing (floor to platform), lifting (up to 70lbs), reaching (overhead to floor), vision (20/20), standing (60%), and walking (40%).

· Incumbents required to wear safety glasses, personal protective equipment, and other non-specified protective equipment as necessary.
