Job Information

The overall purpose of this function is to ensure that the proper marketing activities are in place for DEVELON across North America to promote dealer growth, brand awareness, product introductions, and enhancements, in the marketplace. The product and dealer marketing manager is responsible for the product positioning which articulates the value proposition, messaging, management, execution, and evaluation of these marketing programs. This includes all normal functions and duties related to the marketing environment, with the primary focus on dealers and products. The product and dealer marketing manager is an effective liaison between the dealer network, the product team, our headquarters / BU, and the field team. The purpose is to support the dealer network in the day-to-day activity as well as to support the field team (sales and aftermarket) with the tools necessary to achieve unit volume targets/revenue and profitability targets for the region.

The product and dealer marketing manager understands marketing principles and techniques to create a marketing communication sequence that leads to success and ensures all processes and corporate procedures are effective, well-managed, and documented to achieve the highest efficiency


Role and Responsibility

• Ensure proper branding at dealers

• Support local dealer & trade show events (open house, etc.)

• Participate in regional association meetings

• Voice of the Channel, Voice of the Customer - Support and arrange for customer visits (dealer site visits) – as & when required by BU / Korea

• Manage the Dealer Review Board process (admin portion)

• Ensure dealer on-boarding and training process

• Support to compile AOP & LRP for the region

• Sales campaigns – initiate, manage, monitor, and evaluate

• Promotions – initiate, manage, monitor and evaluate

• Manage demo fleet & follow up reporting

• Support local aftermarket events/meetings

• Good understanding of the distribution model via dealers (B2B).

• Good business acumen, solutions-oriented

• Budget Management experience

• Open communication, analytical thinking, well-organized, fact-based decision-making, ability to interact with all different levels of the organization including dealer personnel,

• Must be collaborative and deadline-driven, self-motivated, and highly customer-oriented

• Business experience in the construction environment

• Field experience (Dealer and/or end-customer).

• Demonstrated success in positioning and launching differentiated products Excellent written and verbal communication skills, possibly including some copywriting skills

• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority. The ability to influence and work collaboratively with sales, marketing, and Product Management is especially important

• Experience with market research methodologies and execution

• Launch plan execution and management experience

• Marketing plan (participate in the creation of)



Requirements:

• Extensive project management.

• Customer satisfaction management.

• Strong priority focus and ability to balance multiple requests in a timely manner

• Excellent Communication skills with various levels of the organization and partners.

• Highly organized and solution-driven

• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint

• Budget management skills

• Excellent ability to operate cross-departmental and cross-functional.

• Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Marketing.

• Experience Required: 7>10 years

• Travel Required: 20-40%

• Knowledge of CE distribution channels
