ABOUT WOODLAND AND JOB CORPS CENTER
The Woodland Job Corps Center provides students with the opportunity to earn their High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), and hands-on training in the following areas: Electrical Wiring, Carpentry, Building Construction Technology, Culinary Arts, Advanced Training - Culinary Arts and Hotel & Lodging. We also assist students with job placement upon completion of their educational and career technical training.

Responsible for working with Recreation team to provide students with a comprehensive and diverse recreation program. Promotes health and wellness through overseeing the recreation activities as outlined on the approved recreation schedule.

As a Recreation Advisor, you'll be at the heart of building a sense of community, well-being, and personal development among our students. Through innovative and inclusive recreational programs, you'll contribute to creating an environment where our students thrive both academically and personally.
Responsibilities:
Program Development: Design, implement, and oversee a diverse range of recreational programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our student population.
Community Building: Foster a sense of camaraderie and belonging through team-building activities, group events, and recreational outings.
Wellness Promotion: Promote physical and mental well-being through health and fitness initiatives, encouraging a healthy lifestyle among students.
Student Engagement: Actively engage with students to understand their interests and preferences, ensuring that recreational activities resonate with their needs and aspirations.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to integrate recreation into the overall student experience, contributing to a holistic approach to education and personal development.
