Job Description:

The Yonker Laboratory in the Mucosal and Immunology and Biology Research Center (MIBRC) at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral research fellow.


The Yonker Lab works from bench to bedside to define innate immune activation in disease pathogenesis in children, with a focus on immune responses to infections, including SARS-CoV-2, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and RSV. Areas of active investigation include 1) use of microfluidics to analyze neutrophil activation in disease states; 2) microscopy for imaging and analysis of inflammatory mediators; 3) endothelial cell tissue culture and co-culture with inflammatory readouts.

The ideal candidate is highly motivated and driven, with a strong background in microscopy, cell culture, and immunology. Both national and international candidates are encouraged to apply, but a documented track record of significant prior scientific achievement in the field of immunology or closely related disciplines is encouraged.
