NGE is a complex application being used by the business to solve complex business processes. We need to ensure that we retain the diversified talent and domain knowledge so that we can analyze and better understand the business data used for Pricing and Underwriting of PBM drugs.

This role to be part of a software development team enhancing and maintaining the pricing forecasting application that helps pricing analyst to prepare RFPs for existing clients and prospective clients. Application is using technology including Databricks, Hadoop, SQL, SCALA, Spark, Java, Java Script, Tableau and Teradata to support our business finance organization.

This position is for a Java, Java Script and Tableau developer who will enhance the Comparison Tool module for the NGE application and also assist in the migration from Hadoop to Databricks. In future, this role can also help on the Pricing UI (PSCRF) and PDR Integration projects since the Java skills also map on to those applications.

Skills

• 4+ Years of experience in front-end development


• 6+ core Java development experience


• Ability to write web services in Java using the Spring Boot framework.


• Strong SQL skills - queries, complex joins and ability to design tables in Oracle SQL, Teradata and Databricks.


• Ability to translate business requirements provided by product owners into JIRA stories.


• Ability to ask questions, learn a critical business domain.


• Follow the SAFe Agile process - Sprints, PIs, and scrum ceremonies.


• Work with a team of developers to design, implement and test code.


• If an Advisor role, candidate is expected to consistently complete their sprint objectives and implement quality code.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent work experience.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 105,800 - 176,300 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
