Our client is seeking a VP of Enterprise Monitoring in Remote opportunity.


Role Description


• Assist in ongoing project delivery tasks and daily support work, issue resolution, and facilitate migrations.
• Maintain and support monitoring platforms that include but not limited to Solarwinds, Splunk, and Observer Analysis.
• Lead efforts for best-in-class monitoring platforms in support of the IT strategy.
• Directly collaborate with peers, senior management, vendors, and all product stakeholders to understand business requirements, help drive alignment, and build thoughtful solutions throughout your team.
• A deep understanding of ITIL, with an emphasis on event management and incident management
• Identify and remediate monitor gaps and exceptions across the environment.
• Provide 24x7 coverage when necessary.


Skills & Requirements


• Strong verbal and written communications skills at all levels of the organization.
• A strong focus on delivering business value and translating potential technical solutions into realistic business cases and successful projects.
• Ability to effectively manage changes both within IT and across the organization.
• Consistent demonstration of ownership & accountability in fulfilling commitments
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Must be able to lead a team of system administrators and conduct performance reviews of direct reports.
• A curiosity for understanding new technologies or services and determining how they may influence our strategy.
• Ability to assess complex systems, business processes and define requirements for solutions.
• Manage and propose updates to the patch lifecycle to ensure vulnerabilities are mitigated promptly.
• Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of IT leadership experience OR High School diploma and 8-10 years working in a medium to large enterprise supporting vendor-specific software suites.
