Hays Specialist Recruitment has partnered with a pharmaceutical company and is hiring an MD, with experience in Clinical Development, Early Stage Oncology.
Required Qualifications:
M.D., M.D./PhD or equivalent degree with 5+ years of applicable experience.
Passion and track-record for developing novel cancer drugs based on a deep understanding of the therapeutic science and clinical landscape.
Solid experience in exploratory clinical drug development as an academic investigator or within a pharmaceutical/biotech environment. This includes understanding of the scientific methods and tools used in early development studies, biomarkers, translational modeling, bio stats and a good understanding of oncology medical needs and clinical trial landscape.
Participated in clinical oncology studies with molecular targeted or immunological therapies.
Understanding of basic science relevant to clinical oncology (biochemistry, immunology, molecular biology and/or genetics).
Experience with health authority interactions globally.
Preferred Qualifications:
Oncology/Hematology board certification.
Participated and led a drug development program for registration or IND filing.
