Hays Civil Construction has partnered with one of the most established Heavy Civil General Contractors in SoCal who are currently hiring a Project Manager to support their Highway division. As a company that has been around for over 30 years, this role would suit candidates who are seeking a mid-sized company with a pipeline of projects on the books. Your new role
In this role as a Project Manager, your responsibilities will include providing leadership for the various areas of civil project construction including cost planning, scheduling, engineering, supervision and management of all on-site workers. You will be in command of the project from the start right through to completion and the entire close-out process.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent education and experience required.
Minimum of 5 years' Heavy Civil construction industry experience, with experience constructing highways, roadways and concrete projects
Thorough knowledge of Caltrans plans and specifications is required.
Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities is vital.
Demonstrated the ability to manage a team of varied disciplines.
