POSITION PURPOSE:
The Janitorial role is responsible for the general upkeep, and maintenance cleaning of interior buildings/facilities/lobby office areas, restrooms, and other areas determined by contract or assigned by the supervisor.
SHIFT DETAILS:
Monday-Friday (Occasional Weekend) 7:00am-3:30pm
MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Include the following key areas and duties, which may be modified or increased as necessary:
Pick up trash and replace trash liners
Vacuum, mop, strip, wax, and sweep floor areas
Dust, wall spot, clean glass, polish, and sanitize all areas.
Wash, clean, wipe down, sponge rinse, scour, and disinfect assigned work areas.
Note/report all areas needing repair or hazardous conditions requiring correction.
Adhere to all safety rules, requirements, policies, and procedures in accordance with CCS guidelines.
Report damage to customer property, suspicious activities, and unsafe conditions within the work area to the supervisor.
Other duties as assigned

Responsible for any emergency cleaning occurring during shift.
Ability to work independently at the customer job site.
Ability to identify and resolve areas of conflict or concerns. Report to the shift supervisor any items needed to be completed by the next shift.
Notify the supervisor of any discrepancies in the overall condition of the environment, i.e., leaking faucet, broken pipe, crack in wall or glass, etc.
Must become familiar with cleaning chemical components and safety requirements.

Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
