Position Summary To serve our customers by delivering and merchandising products to customer locations according to established standards designed to increase company sales and profits. Essential Functions Delivers, stocks, rotates and displays all products at customer locations according to established standards. Invoices customers for sales, collects payment from customers (e.g. check, cash, money order) and secures payment in safe. Works with customer at retailer locations to ensure that entire pre-sold order is delivered and merchandised to maximize sales and profitability. Works in conjunction with customers and Territory Account Manager to identify opportunities to increase the sales and profitability of the company through incremental displays, communication of price/value and promotions. Communicates with customers and Pepsi management team on issues regarding pricing, products, programs and problems that arise in the trade G&J Pepsi-Cola Bottlers, Inc. to ensure that established customer service standards are maintained. Maintains a good working relationship with: customers; account and area managers at Pepsi; and other internal employees at Pepsi (e.g. warehouse employees, sales equipment employees). Ensures proper POS items are set up and displayed according to established standards (e.g. clings, base wrap, pole signs, banners). Responsible for the proper accounting of all products, shells and pallets (e.g. shells and pallets accurately accounted for and returned to facility). Adheres to all company policies, standards and procedures (e.g. OSHA, DOT and safety requirements, AIB and Pepsi standards, Federal/State/Local laws); wears all required personal protective equipment. Trains new employees to perform Geobox Driver job duties in accordance with established standards. Maintains and completes required paperwork (e.g. DOT logs, Missed Time Verification forms, time off requests, mileage logs, sales reports, invoices); maintains confidentiality of product pricing, customer key locations and other sensitive information. Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as required to meet workload demands. Performs other related duties as required.
