Provide therapeutic massage services to patients in Integrative Medicine across UC Health with the goals of alleviating stress, reducing pain and discomfort associated with headache, back, shoulder, neck and other pain as well as optimizing the patient's wellness. This role will also help with the development and growth of the division from a leadership standpoint to ensure all patient needs and compliance needs are met and maintained.
Certification or licensure as a Massage Therapist in OH.
Minimum Required: 2 Years equivalent experience. Preferred: 5-10 Years equivalent experience.

Administers massage therapy treatment to address patient's primary health condition; utilizes appropriate techniques and other modalities to meet patient's specific needs and achieve therapy goals; observes progress, compliance with treatment plan, and/or changes in patient's condition and modifies treatment plan accordingly.

Educates patient and family, if appropriate, on a prescribed treatment plan to meet goals; provides instruction for at-home therapy activities as needed.

Promote massage therapy services and benefits to internal and external entities.

Documents patient's preliminary evaluation, specific methods and treatment utilized, recommended treatment plan and goals as well as adherence to prescribed care plan.
