We are searching for a Senior
Software Developer to provide professional work experience in the development and support of Information Technology applications. Our client is implementing AASHTOWare Project Materials (AWP) and Construction Modules. We seek a team member to develop agency views within AWP. This position will be full-time and r

emote.





What You'll Do



  • Anticipated tasks will include refining a variety of construction data sets including construction materials, laboratory and field test methods, lab equipment, acceptance criteria, vendors, sources, and mix designs


  • Those data sets will be integrated with pay item acceptance requirements and reporting


  • The work will include programming specific agency views in C# and Python along with ActiveReports (GrapeCity) and integrating API interfaces


  • Successful candidate will be integrated into an existing team with our AWP vendor and construction materials staff


  • The developer will often work independently to develop AWP agency views based on existing forms, test methods and reports





What You'll Need



Required:


  • 6 years of C# programming experience


  • 6 years of Python programming experience


  • 6 years of API interface programming experience


  • AASHTOWare Project Active Views experience - highly desired


  • Must be willing to work the client's business schedule of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Mountain Time


  • Candidates outside the local Boise area will be encouraged to travel to Boise (expenses to be covered/reimbursed) to participate in up to five workshops of four-day durations each


  • In addition to our standard CAI background check process, the candidates will have to go through a fingerprinting/background check process managed by the State prior to being able to start. Results must be returned before they can start (and that has been taking about 10-15 business days for those results to be returned for recent hires)


  • Ideal candidate must have high-priority experience working with AASHTOWare Project Active Views in addition to the other skills. This is something used specifically within the transportation industry/field




Preferred:


  • AASHTOWare Project uses ActiveReports (GrapeCity), experience with this application is desired.





Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards


  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.


  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
