Dev Technology Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing impactful applications, analyzing business requirements, and designing efficient programming solutions. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will play a key role in driving the success of our projects through your expertise and innovative approach to software development.
What You'll Be Doing:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and design data models
Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using a variety of programming languages and technologies
Lead and participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance and expertise
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in software development
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on full-stack development
Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C#, SQL, HTML, and CSS
Experience with Node.js, React.js, .NET, and other relevant frameworks
Previous experience in an Agile SCRUM environment
Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure
Strong understanding of software design principles and best practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
Experience in a government contracting environment
Security Clearance: DHS Public Trust or DOD Secret
Our estimated salary range for this position is $116,000-$190,000. This presented salary range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Offered salary is based on education, experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements as appropriate to the role. *Salary could fall outside of this range.
