Job Description:

Infosys is looking for an experienced IBM TM1 developer who will be responsible for the development of the new applications and enhancing the existing models using IBM Planning Analytics. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and needs to be self-sufficient and comfortable with building internal networks, both with the business and other technology teams. Candidate should be self-motivated, results oriented and able to multi-task across different teams and applications. Further the candidate needs to work effectively with remotely dispersed teams as the role will require constant communication across various regional teams. Daily responsibilities will include: Building, maintaining & enhancing the Planning systems (TM1) for budgeting/forecasting and reporting; Creating, enhancing, and maintaining cubes, Dimensions, Active forms, PAW & PAX reports to support business requirements; Involvement in troubleshooting issues as and when arisen and support during month end activities; and Technical support for all TM1 interfacing systems.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.


• At least 2 years of experience in Information Technology.


• Candidate must live within commuting distance of Raleigh, NC or be willing to relocate. Travel within the US may be required


• U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply.


• Strong experience with Cognos TM1 Development & Enhancements


• Experience in developing different EPM applications using IBM PA/Cognos TM1


• Expertise in Cube design, TI scripting, MDX, Rules & Feeders and Performance Tuning.


• Experience on Client Reporting and Dashboard tools like Active forms, PA Web, PAX & PAW


• Experience in implementation of overall TM1 security


• Experience in writing SQL


• Working knowledge on TM1 Rest API, Python & Excel


• Ability to do rapid prototyping in TM1.


• Documentation of Runbooks and User Training and Support


• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies with a track record of high-quality deliverables

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Working experience in Agile environment


• Functional knowledge on Finance, Sales, and retail


• Knowledge on Cloud Infrastructure and data source integrations


• Knowledge on relational Databases and Cognos Analytics


• Self-motivated, be able to work independently as well as being a team player.


• Strong client service focus and willingness to respond to queries and provide deliverables within prompt timeframes.

The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
