Job Description:

Infosys is seeking an Android Developer to help maintain existing applications and services, as well as, deliver new capabilities for our Client's platforms. You will be immersed in modern tools and technologies to get the job done, such as AWS Cloud infrastructure and platform services, NodeJS micro-services, and a robust CI/CD pipeline.. This position will add value to a gamut of Software Development lifecycle stages; will create detailed design artifacts like program specifications, test plans; and independently develop and review code and contribute to the go-live plan. Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience in Java full stack development React on the front-end and Node/Express on the backend.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Designing and implementing mobile based applications.


• Design and develop beautiful, functional for mobile apps and web-based applications


• Translate business and customer requirements into elegant experiences


• Collaborate with designers to build and maintain visually appealing, user-friendly, and accessible design systems


• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure design integrity throughout the development lifecycle, bridging the gap between design and code


• Leverage your diverse skill set to craft prototypes and proofs-of-concept that push the boundaries of what's possible and bring joy to every customer interaction


• Craft code that controls the look and feel of an experience: colors, typography, responsive layout, motion, interactions, and any other visual aspect of the UI


• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code


• Optimize code for performance, stability and maintainability


• Work with cross-functional teams of application/UI software engineers, UI/UX designers, and QA/Validation

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of San Leandro, CA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
