Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.
Manage day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management.
Conduct financial analyses to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and coordinate with external auditors during audits.
Oversee the loan accounting process, ensuring accurate recording of loan transactions, interest accruals, and fee assessments.
Execute and/or provide the necessary oversight for daily banking transactions and requirements.
Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Set performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide training.
Monitor and manage cash flow.
Oversee and coordinate the preparation of sales tax returns.
Assist and support budget and forecasting activities.
Must Haves:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA preferred).
Proven experience (4 years) in accounting management roles.
Strong knowledge of GAAP financial reporting, and IRS regulatory compliance.
Strong analytical abilities.
Advanced with Excel
Proficiency with Salesforce.
